There’s no shortage of karaoke machines out there, allowing you to bust out a singing party in a pinch. Most of them, though, require hooking up to a TV or pairing with a phone so you can choose songs and follow along to lyrics. That’s not the case with the Ikarao Break X1, which comes with its own display for pure standalone karaoke function.
That’s right, it’s an all-in-one karaoke machine that combines a speaker, wireless mics, and a 13.3-inch Android tablet with preloaded music apps, allowing you to host a karaoke party without needing any other device. Heck, it’s even got its own battery, so you don’t even need a power outlet, making it a true karaoke party in a box.
The Ikarao Break X1 measures around the size of a small boombox, coming in at 19.3 x 11.6 x 10.6 inches (width x height x depth). That makes it big enough to house a speaker system with a pair of 2.6-inch tweeters and a 6.5-inch cone diaphragm woofer, as well as 13.3-inch Android tablet that folds up from the top. It boasts 460W peak power with an 80W max bass boost, so it can deliver a pretty beefy sound, with dual-mode DSP, customizable EQ, and three preset modes, namely light, indoor, and outdoor.
The 13.3-inch HD display runs Android 13, with preinstalled music apps like YouTube, Karafun, Singplay, and more. Just hook it up to your wireless network for easy access to any online karaoke service you want, while coming with USB and TF slots for loading any karaoke music in your personal collection. All sorts of adjustments can be done from the same display, allowing you to adjust EQ, add sound effects, choose preset modes, select light modes and more very easily.
The Ikarao Break X1 comes with two wireless mics stored in their own slots at the top. The dedicated compartments don’t just stash the mic neatly, they serve as charging docks, too, so the mics are automatically charged any time they’re put back in. Each mic comes with super cardioid pickup, as well as its own independent controls. If you want to play your own music, by the way, there’s also a slot for plugging in your own guitar. According to the outfit, the onboard battery houses enough power to keep the speaker running for up to 10 hours with the screen turned off, but we imagine that’s going to be a lot less in full karaoke mode. Basically, you’ll want to carry a power bank (or a portable power station) if you want to use it on the go (you can use it while charging).
Want to read lyrics from a bigger screen? Not a problem, as it comes with two HDMI slots for hooking up to TVs, along with a number of connectors in the back for integrating it with your home sound system. Other features include a 180-degree rotating screen (you can use it landscape or portrait), a tripod mount, and stereo pairing support when connected to another unit.
