We’ll be honest. We don’t know anyone who actually carries a 16-inch laptop as their daily work machine. It just feels way too big especially if you carry slim laptop backpacks. However, if you’re one of those few who actually does your work on a large laptop, you’ll definitely be interested in the Razer Laptop Sleeve 16 with Wireless Charging.
Like any laptop sleeve, this accessory gives you a handy place to slip in your portable computer during transport, ensuring it has adequate protection against bumps and scratches. Unlike them, it comes with two wireless charging pads, so you can also charge your phone and earbuds whenever you plop down to work at the local coffee shop with the blazing fast Wi-Fi.

The Razer Laptop Sleeve 16 with Wireless Charging is a protective carrying bag sized to hold the Razer Blade 16, the MacBook Pro 16, and other laptops of similar or smaller dimensions. It’s a pretty standard sleeve, with a large pouch, a flap lid, and no carry handles, so you’ll have to cradle it in hand or tuck it under your arm during transport. Inside, the pouch is heavily padded with reinforced edges, ensuring it provides adequate cushioning against bumps, drops, and impact, while coming with a microfiber lining to avoid nicks and scratches. Despite the padding, the laptop sleeve is slim enough to slip under your laptop during use, essentially serving as a protective mat to keep your computer away from dirty surfaces. Construction is a lightweight woven polyester for the shell, which, the outfit claims, should withstand abrasion and daily wear pretty easily.
You’ll have to open the lid when slipping it under the laptop, so you get a perfectly even surface. That’s all well and good, of course, because the lid actually contains the two wireless charging pads, giving you a way to charge your devices on the sleeve. Do note, the sleeve doesn’t come with a battery, so you can’t charge stuff on the go, although it does plug into a USB-C power source whenever you’re set up someplace and comfortable.

The Razer Laptop Sleeve 16 with Wireless Charging has one charging pad that can do up to 15W, making it ideal for fast-charging smartphones. The second one can only do a more limited 5W, which should still be useful for wireless earbud cases, smartwatches, and other devices. Do you really need wireless charging pads on your laptop sleeve? Probably not. It is a nice way to streamline the amount of stuff you carry, though, eliminating the need to carry a separate charging device when you leave with your laptop in tow.

Surprisingly, there are no RGB LEDs on the sleeve, which is quite surprising for Razer. Even those tiny green accents near the top, which look like LEDs, turn out to be merely brightly-colored fabric, which, we guess, is classier than the outfit’s usual RGB parade. We do wish they added a pocket for carrying a wireless mouse, since it might get a bit tight if you slip a somewhat bulky peripheral inside.
The Razer Laptop Sleeve 16 with Wireless Charging is available now, priced at $129.99. They also plan to release a version without wireless charging priced at $50 less.
