Journey Loc8 Motion Key Organizer Comes with Apple Find My Tracking

Losing your keys can be plenty annoying. That’s why we’ve seen plenty of people now using AirTag Key Rings as their keychain, as it gives them an easy way to locate their keys any time they’re lost or forgotten. If you’re not a fan of walking around with jangling keys in your pocket, but still want the same tracking convenience of Apple’s AirTag, you might want to check out the Journey Loc8 Motion.

A key organizer, it holds your keys securely sandwiched inside a pair of scales, so they sit securely tucked inside their own compartment, with no jangling or scratching other items in your pocket. Unlike your standard key organizer, though, this comes with built-in tracking tech that’s compatible with Apple Find My, allowing it to give you the same handy functions as an AirTag-equipped key ring.

The Journey Loc8 Motion looks like any modern key organizer. That means, you get aluminum scales on either side and a center compartment sized to hold a set of keys that you can flip out similar to the way you pull out a knife or a file from a mini multi-tool. According to the outfit, it has enough room to accommodate up to six standard-sized keys, which should be enough for most individuals. Even better, it holds them in an organized stack that stays quiet all day, even when you’re on the move. Just make sure you use the provided washers to eliminate any gap in the stack, which can cause those unwanted jangling sounds.

Aside from the six keys, the accessory also comes with a flip-out tool that you can keep in the same stack. The tool, by the way, is designed to serve as a box cutter for all those package-opening you’re bound to be doing at some point during the week, while also pulling double duty as a bottle opener because the world absolutely needs a bottle opener.

The Journey Loc8 Motion’s big selling point, of course, is the integration of tracking hardware that allows you to pair it with Apple’s Find My app. That means, you can use the app to find it any time using Apple’s network, making it easy to locate your key organizer whether you dropped it, left it somewhere, or can’t even remember where you last saw it. It has a built-in 80dB buzzer for locating the device through sound when you’re nearby, by the way, so you don’t have to spend the time just blindly looking around the vicinity.

A built-in 100mAh battery will keep the tracker running for up to four months at a time, while being rechargeable, so you just plug in for an hour to fill it back up for another four-month run. Do note, it will likely last for less than that if you use the buzzer feature often, so just use it when needed. Other features include a D-ring for attaching it to other items (like your car keys), stainless steel hardware, a light weight of just 1.6 ounces, and three color options, namely black, white, and orange.

The Journey Loc8 Motion is available now, priced at $79.99.
