Moft Invisible Stand Folds Flat for Storing in the Same Place as Your Laptop

The best laptop stands make it easy to prop your work computer at an angle, allowing you to work comfortably, whether you’re on a desk at work or your home setup. Problem is, many laptop stands just aren’t convenient to bring along when you’re working on the go, which, fortunately, isn’t the case with the Moft Invisible Stand.

A new-and-improved version of the outfit’s original stand from 2019, the laptop accessory retains the same fold flat design that allows you to easily squeeze it right next to your laptop. Whether you’re putting it in a laptop bag, a standalone case, or a padded sleeve on your backpack, this thing is slim enough to fit right inside with your computer, ensuring you can easily bring it along anywhere you’re going.

The Moft Invisible Stand is an origami-inspired laptop stand that folds into a flat board that measures just 0.16 inches in thickness. This allows you to comfortably stash it in the same compartment as your laptop, adding minimal bulk to whatever pouch it’s stored in. Despite the ultra-thin sparseness of the material, it can actually support up to 11 pounds of weight, making it suitable for use with any laptop or tablet. Heck, you can use it to hold thick law textbooks in a reader-friendly angle with no trouble, with a non-slip base ensuring it stays in place the whole time.

Built-in cutouts make it easy to figure out how to unfold each section, so it forms into a proper device stand, with built-in magnets allowing it to lock securely into position. Even better, it can lock into two different angles, 25 degrees to put the laptop monitor at eye level and 15 degrees for an ideal laptop typing angle. The 15-degree angle sounds like it should also be ideal for drawing on a tablet, making this especially handy for plenty of work tasks.

The Moft Invisible Stand is made from a mix of metal sheets and fiberglass, giving it enough rigidity and strength to support the heaviest laptops and pro tablets. It’s covered in ultra-slim MOVAS leather to give the whole thing a premium finish and texture that also won’t nick or scratch whatever device you stash it next to. According to the outfit, the leather has been tested to pass rigorous 2,000-scratch tests, so this thing should hold up in the durability department, too. There are also built-in ventilation cutouts on the body, so air can flow freely in and out of the laptop or tablet you have sitting on the stand, with grooves along the edges making it easy to grip during set up.

The stand is available in two sizes: standard and large. The standard size measures 9.8 x 7.1 x 0.16 inches and weighs 6.35 oz., with a build that’s meant to support laptops up to 14 inches and tablets up to 11 inches. The large version measures 11.8 x 8.3 x 0.16 inches and weighs 8.9 oz., while supporting bigger laptops and tablets. It’s available in two leather colors: misty cove and jet black.

The Moft Invisible Stand is available now, priced at $29.99.
